Hi, I’m John Mccloy — a retired teacher, professional public speaker, and experienced radio announcer based in Carnarvon, Western Australia.

Throughout my career I have worked in radio creating advertisements for politicians, reading news, and general announcing. I have also been the spokesperson for the Carnarvon Space and Technology Museum, appearing on several Australian and international television programs sharing the history and significance of our local space industry.

I understand how to connect with an audience and how to make a ceremony truly special, meaningful, and personal.

Your ceremony matters deeply to me. I do not believe in “cut and paste” services. I work closely with every couple to design a ceremony that reflects who you are, complies fully with the requirements of the Marriage Act, and becomes a moment you will remember for a lifetime.

Your wedding should be fun, heartfelt, and meaningful. I create ceremonies that are warm, engaging, and memorable — services that live on in your memories long after the day has passed.

My ceremonies are non-religious, however I am very happy to include special rituals, customs, symbols, or cultural elements that are important to you. I will craft a ceremony that includes the people you wish to involve and celebrates your relationship in the way that feels right to you.
